Doorway Online is a non-profit development that aims to present learners aquiring early skills with high quality, accessible learning activities. It is managed by the Doorway Accessible Software Trust. It relies for funding on donations from local authorities and individuals.

Thomas Lee

Thomas is the multimedia designer responsible for creating the activities found on Doorway Online. While creating the activities, he ensured that the images he designed were clear and easy to understand and that the user interface was attractive and intuitive. Thomas also designed the Doorway Online website and the Jotter Primary font, which is the principal font used in all the activities.

 

CALL Scotland

Thanks to CALL Scotland, Edinburgh University, for their advice with regard to implementing accessibility options within Doorway software.

 

Doorway Multimedia

Thanks to Roger Spooner and Andrew Burt, the original developers of Doorway for Acorn RISC OS computer, for their permission to use the Doorway name and some of the concepts of the software.
